Des personnes confrontées à l’effroi qui a envahi leurs terres natale et menacé leurs vies, quittent leur logis pour aller cherche refuge dans un nouvel endroit. Sans aucune possibilité de rentrer chez eux, ils se tournent ver les rêves, ceux, lointains, de l’époque de leurs ancêtres.
Le court-métrage Le Galimatias
Le film aborde la barrière sociale et culturelle qui impose la langue. Face aux difficultés d’apprentissage surgissent des fantasmes de communication alternative : gestes, regards, symboles urbains : un langage parallèle, imaginaire, et profondément humain.

The film almanac “33 Words About Design” is a film-research about the design in Russia. It is believed that there is no specifically Russian approach to design. But what if they underestimate the influence of culture, history and surrounding reality on the style and aesthetic guidelines of those who creates our visual environment?

We will trace the history of Russian visual culture from the origins of the Cyrillic alphabet and folk crafts to constructivism, Soviet DIY and metamodernism. Art movements, objects, centuries will be discussed by contemporary Russian designers and design studios.
