This series of photographs bear witness to the seamless integration of the environment into the artwork, allowing the work to become a natural extension of the life and nature that surround it.

The artist, ever receptive to the twists and turns of chance, allows nature to permeate their soul and guide them toward the only true path in the creation of these forms. The resulting works reveal how these wooden forms have seamlessly become a part of the rhythms of village life and the surrounding natural world, while at the same time, the village and nature have become a continuation of these forms.

Such is the creative process, where the artist is but a humble conduit for the great forces of the universe, allowing them to flow through their being and shape the very fabric of their work. And in the end, the works themselves stand as a testament to the eternal dance between the artist and the environment, each one shaping the other in an endless cycle of creative inspiration.

Two abstract wooden forms, a year apart, carved with an electric jigsaw.

These floristic forms emerged as a result of a search for the right contour for illustrations in the project to create a printed dictionary. In order to fully understand and immerse themselves in the task of creating illustrations, it was decided to materialize these forms. One of the materials chosen was wood.

The wooden panel, measuring approximately 70 by 90 cm and about 3 cm thick, was transformed into the desired forms with the help of an electric jigsaw. The abstract shapes of the forms were clearly inspired by vegetal motifs, yet retained a certain level of ambiguity. Their contours allowed for a variety of interpretations, making them suitable for different visual contexts.

The craftsmanship of creating these forms is remarkable. The precision and skill with which the electric jigsaw was used is evident in the finished product. Each curve, each angle was meticulously crafted, resulting in a unique object that is both natural and artificial, both earthly and abstract.

In conclusion, these floristic forms are not just mere illustrations, but rather they are the embodiment of a creative process, a reflection of the environment that inspired them, and a testament to the craftsmanship of the creator.

Execution forging intimacy between beholder and creator.
